Our Bankruptcy Group is one of the leading
insolvency practices in Georgia and has
particular experience with large, complex,
multi-disciplinary insolvency problems.
We represent secured and unsecured lenders
(both agents and participants), institutional
and private investors, sellers, acquirers,
indenture trustees, creditors, debtors,
court-appointed fiduciaries, creditor
groups and committees, and representatives
of foreign insolvent estates. Through
our representation of major banking organizations,
we are regularly involved in the workout
of troubled loans. Our bankruptcy lawyers
draft transaction documents and pleadings,
counsel clients on developing strategy,
and appear regularly in federal bankruptcy,
district, and appellate courts. The practice
is interdepartmental in nature with attorneys
working closely with a variety of other
departments within our firm on cases which
