Financial Services
Our Financial Services Group, a joint
practice group that includes principally
attorneys in our Banking and Investment
Company Groups, counsels clients on the
rapidly developing products and services
that constitute crossovers between classic
banking and mutual fund products. We also
assist banks in developing their own proprietary
mutual funds and related products and
mutual funds in the formation of banking
organizations. We regularly advise banks
with respect to the distribution of fund
products, the investment of trust and
managed agency accounts in affiliated
mutual funds, the structuring of custody
and transfer agency services, and the
creative use of bank-maintained collective
and common trust funds. Members of the
group also are active in representing
clients in international investment transactions.
