Lending
Our practice in the lending area covers
a broad range of activities. We represent
major Atlanta based banks, international
banks with Georgia transactions, and other
institutional investors in structuring,
documenting, and administering credit
facilities. These facilities include working
capital lines, letters of credit, term
loans, "fully-followed" asset based transactions,
leveraged leases, revenue bonds, and acquisition
financings. We represent lenders on individual
relationships with borrowers and agents
and other lenders on large syndicated
credit facilities. Our lawyers are particularly
knowledgeable with respect to the extensive
documentation requirements involved in
commercial lending transactions, including
syndicated loans. Our practice frequently
involves amendments and restructurings
as well as more formal forbearance agreements,
workouts, and representation of creditors
in bankruptcy proceedings.
