Wetlands, Waterways and
Tidelands Regulation
The Environmental Department counsels
clients on complex wetlands, waterways,
tidelands, and coastal area requirements
applicable to real estate development
and other activities in or near such areas.
Our attorneys have been involved in the
siting, permitting, and development of
a number of significant public sector
and private waterfront developments in
the Atlanta area, as well as a number
of wastewater treatment and contaminated
site remediation projects on waterfront
properties. Our work includes identifying
activities that may impact such areas,
retaining and directing technical consultants,
and preparing permit applications and
other submissions to governmental authorities.
